For Singapore importers, distributors and food manufacturers
Indian food sourcing for Singapore buyers
Discuss listed agricultural products, ingredients, custom processing and private-label enquiries with Jayshree Industries in India. Start with the exact product form and intended use, then review supply, importer responsibilities and documents. A sourcing enquiry is not confirmation of stock, shipment eligibility or an accepted order.
Choose the product form before the import route
Whole fresh fruit and vegetables
Discuss Indian table grapes, Alphonso or Kesar mangoes, whole Bhagwa pomegranates, onions and other specified whole produce. State variety, crop window, grade, carton and arrival needs. For baby corn, coconut and mixed seasonal requests, confirm whether the actual product is whole, peeled, cut or otherwise processed before choosing an import category.
Prepared pomegranate arils
Arils are a prepared fruit form, not whole pomegranates. Confirm the selected processor, intended preparation, microbiological criteria, MAP or vacuum pack and validated storage. Current India-applicable supporting-document requirements need confirmation with SFA and the importer; this page does not establish a ready-to-eat category, documentation exemption or shipment approval.
Frozen, IQF and vacuum-packed products
Specify mango or other fruit cuts, berries, corn on cob, kernels, baby corn or an exact vegetable mix. Confirm actual origin, ingredients, processing and preparation instructions. A frozen form belongs in a different review from whole fresh produce; vacuum sealing alone does not establish cooking status, ambient stability or shelf life.
Pulps, concentrates and dried fruit
Discuss Alphonso or Totapuri mango pulp, pink or white guava pulp, pineapple concentrate and dried mango against the buyer's intended application. Agree composition, process, samples, actual inner pack and net weight. Retail packs and bulk ingredients for further processing need different label and use reviews; an aseptic-pack description is not a shelf-life guarantee.
Preserved vegetables and chilli
For gherkins and jalapeños, specify cut, preservation medium, composition and net or drained weight. For Samba S-4 chilli, agree form, origin and lot-specific acceptance tests. Confirm any requested GI provenance separately. Retail, food-service and manufacturing packs require their own product and label specification.
Rahis rice and additional sourcing
Review the four listed Rahis basmati packs against the actual rice type, supplying mill, specification and artwork. Brand ownership does not identify the selected mill or demonstrate its approvals. Singapore's rice-licensing route needs a separate importer review; no stockpiling or rice-type exemption is assumed. Additional agricultural products, custom processing and private-label requests are assessed individually.
Whole produce, processed food and rice are separate checks
SFA distinguishes raw unprocessed produce from cut, peeled, canned or frozen fruit and vegetables. The importer must confirm the actual composition and category, rather than treating every agricultural product as fresh produce.
Fresh-produce importers need the relevant SFA licence; processed-food importers need registration. Rice has a separate licensing route. A Cargo Clearance Permit is required for each consignment. Agree the exact product code, applicable documents and permit conditions with the Singapore importer or declaring agent; inspection and other requirements may still apply.
For whole fresh produce, review prohibited pesticides, applicable residue limits and container information identifying the producer, product and packing/export date. General sourcing guidance is not approval of a supplying packhouse or a lot.
For Indian-origin prepared arils, product-specific supporting-document confirmation remains necessary. Do not apply Malaysia-specific cut-fruit programme conditions automatically to Indian goods, or infer an Indian exemption. No current India-specific aril clearance is asserted here.

Retail labels and ingredient packs need their own review
Use the actual artwork and specification with the Singapore importer. SFA's amendments took effect on 30 January 2026. This is a starting checklist, not label approval or a complete compliance assessment.
- Channel: distinguish retail prepacked food from non-retail containers supplied to manufacturers or food services for further use. The general retail-label rules do not cover the latter; other import and traceability duties still need review.
- English information: review the food description, applicable ingredients/allergens, quantity, Singapore responsible business, origin, lot and necessary handling directions. A brand name alone does not describe the food.
- Composition: obtain the actual recipe, compound ingredients, additives and allergen information. Review water and processing-aid exceptions against the complete guide; do not assume an allergen-free product.
- Quantity: assess net and drained weight for the actual packing medium. Ice glazing is excluded from frozen-food net weight.
- Origin and lot: confirm origin and packing context, and traceability to the producing factory and lot. The lot-mark exception is for fresh, whole, unpeeled produce, not prepared arils or frozen cuts.
- Safe handling and dates: directions are required where misuse would make food unsafe or unsuitable. Check date-marking applicability and manufacturer-validated shelf life; do not assign a universal expiry period.
Review SFA's full labelling guide (PDF) and amendment briefing (PDF). Organic, nutrition, health and other claims need separate substantiation and applicable review. No label artwork has been approved here.

Singapore sourcing questions
Can cut or frozen fruit use the whole-fresh-produce category?
Do not assume so. SFA separates raw unprocessed produce from fruit and vegetables that have been cut, peeled, canned or frozen. Confirm the actual form and full ingredients with the importer before assigning the product category and code.
Are Indian pomegranate arils confirmed ready to eat or cleared for Singapore?
No such claim is made here. Confirm the actual processor, preparation instructions, validated process and current India-applicable supporting documents with the importer and SFA. MAP or vacuum packaging alone is not food-safety validation or shipment approval.
Does a processed-food registration cover Rahis rice?
Do not assume it does. SFA identifies separate licensing for rice imports, re-exports and wholesale dealings. The Singapore importer must check the actual rice type, product code and current applicable licence conditions. A Rahis pack name is not a regulatory classification.
Can I request another product or private-label packing?
Yes, send the exact product, ingredients, process, volume, pack and intended use for review. A custom enquiry is not confirmation of manufacturing ownership, stock, destination eligibility or an accepted order. The form prepares a draft for you to review and send.

Beyond the listed catalogue
Other products, custom specifications and private label
Looking for an agricultural or food product not listed here? Send your requirements for sourcing, custom processing, packing, cold-chain handling or manufacture under your own brand. The export team will review the requested product and destination with the appropriate supplying facility.
Additional products
Describe the raw material, product form, intended use and expected quantity. Share a reference specification or sample requirement where available.
Custom processing and packing
Specify cuts, ingredients, preservation or freezing method, pack size, storage condition and arrival requirements. Technical feasibility and validation are confirmed before an order is agreed.
Private-label programmes
Include your brand, retail or bulk format, artwork and destination-language labelling needs. Samples, minimum quantities, lead times and commercial terms are reviewed for the selected programme.
Requests are welcome for your intended destination, including markets not yet covered by a website guide. Product availability, the selected manufacturing or packing facility, current documents, import requirements and shipment eligibility must be confirmed for each order. This is not a claim of approval for every product in every country.
